Map requests

As the current TBR server doesn't allow voting for unknown maps, please post here if there are any good maps that you would really like to see available on the server or in the map rotation. As a hint, Gema maps are unlikely to be accepted. There are many good maps that have so far been left out of the maprot because they are just too big for an 8 person server.

Oasis, Ore, Savana, Safari, and Iceroad added to the vote-able maps. I don't have the others. I should have victorian but can't find it for some reason.

Yeah, I almost got screwed over with it before when I was playing an interclan with MCNMM and 3 KH players and a w00p player. Someone loaded it and I had no fucking idea where I was going and we were playing ctf.

If we know the maps being realesed before the version comes out load to our server so we can learn the maps

I should point out that not all the custom maps on the TBR server were made by me. Mine are ac_fuel, ac_port, ac_spaceport, ac_chem, and ac_wadi. The others (ac_place included) were made by other people. It normally shows the designers name when the map loads.

I'm not sure who made ac_place because they didn't put their name on it. It's a shame because it's a good map. Could do with a couple of doorways being made slightly bigger and the walls made a bit thicker, but the layout is excellent and really works well for htf.

I don't think I have ever played ac_place. We will have to try it some time blood.
Maybe you should vote it up when you are under a different alias again and I ask you for a 1v1.

Oh and I noticed when I open the map in coop it says the author is Bloodsport, and so I didn't wanna edit anything, even thought I didn't see a liscence anywhere.. and I was wondering if you guys could maybe make the map smaller, because it doesn't fit the standard map regulations for v1.1.0.1

But if this isnt your map then I'll give it to some guys so that they can edit it playable for this version of ac..

Ac_fuel was one of my first maps so the ceiling heights are a bit of a mess in places. Also, the large open area might be against brahma's idea of what is "fun". If someone would like to adjust it to fit the new regulations, that would be excellent, but only if the changes are minor. I feel the open raised railway section is critical to the idea of the map, so that needs to stay in. Unfortunately, I don't have time to do it myself for the moment, so perhaps you could involve rocky, sticky, or reeses in assessing any draft version for the moment.

As I now have a server up and running again (at least part time), lets have some map requests. I want to run this as a mostly custom map server, so take a look through the Qbe-root server selection and pick out some that you really like.
