Could you guys take a look at the internet port : extra> internet options> connection > LAN:

AC doesn't allow my port 8080.

any help solving this would be great.

Could you be a bit more specific. Where should I be looking for "extra>internet options"? Do you mean somewhere in windows?

Am I understanding correctly that you have set up a server on port 8080, but the client won't correct, or is it that the server won't start on 8080?
Port 8080 is normally used for web proxies, are you trying to get past a firewall by using 8080?

nvm. I've finally got an email from my provider, they'll fix the mess as soon as possible.

the problem was that they've filtered my web and placed me on a whitelist, blocking all outgoing information. I could avoid it by replacing their proxy over my own internet, that only allows me to get outgoing information, still it blocks all incoming information except for email.
