Most likely cause:

Go back to the previous page.

i rocky figured it out

ok first you must have chatzilla ... which is a chat server for irc then you must have a registerd name at game surge then you must have mozilla firfox

then click on the tab in mozzila firefox then it should open right click on tabs and save the tabs so ever time you open chatzilla it will open up chatzzilla then can be reopened through options or tools lol i forget.. educate urself people

Guys, the irc channel is still active, but I see nobody else on it. It's a good way for arranging matches etc.

I log on it still when I am on comp

Maybe you could add a new tab for the irc channel in the admin panel.

Recently I got hooked up with GSC, server voice chat. Works very well..

For those who don't know how to use irc:

select a user name

connect and typr /join #thebloodrising

Our channel is being woefully underused.

I have messed around with IRC in the past. I know how to use gamesurge to chat

but I want to find a good IRC client that works without too much hassle. I have a

Mac so that makes things a little more complicated.

Anybody know some good clients?

not for mac, but I used to use the firefox plugin (chatzilla or something like that). I now use Konversation on linux which is very nice.

I'm still not seeing anyone on our IRC channel. It is a much better way of staying in contact with each other than skype because it doesn't use masses of bandwidth. Get yourself chatzilla for firefox and get onto #TheBloodRising on Gamesurge.

Skype is currently not working for me due to an upgrade to a 64 bit version of Linux. Could you all start using IRC. I'm often on there and it is a shameful showing. IRC is what most clans use to stay in contact.

i just tried to use Mirc and it is junk
first off nobody was in the room and second it's confusing ass hell i typed room the blood rising but didn't see gamesurge so idk i was on some other server blah bleh bla
idk i'll just stick with skype unless where doing a match and need to use irc for voice...i just don't see anyone ever being in our irc besides u blood unless told to for a match.....are you always logged? cuz i seen no one not gonna leave program open if it's never gonna be used but once in a blue moon.

well sticky u can also join other rooms like des and the major ac chanel it a good way to be open in the community
